Most of us absolutely love music. We are compelled by it. We are provoked by it. We are moved by it. We are inspired by it. We feel connected to it. It reflects something profound about who we are and our experience of the world.
If I asked you to tell me your favorite bands, musicians, or genres, most of you could quickly reply with a list of beloved artists. Our favorite singers captivate us with lyrics that have powerful messages and sounds that touch us in some special way. In fact, most of us have playlists for just about every situation and emotion in life: an energetic playlist for workouts; and an angry playlist that we reach for when we need to scream.
In these tough life moments, music can be a constructive way to express who you are and what you are feeling. If you are feeling particularly sad about a reality in your life, listen to a song that connects you to that emotion. If you are anxious, turn up the volume in your living room and dance around. If you are angry, grab a pillow and hit is as hard as you can while listening to your favorite lyrics
In conclusion, music is what help us to go through the down time of life. It helps us to remain calm, remain positive and keep trying your best.we often have a hard time expressing how we feel through words. The intellectual, verbal expression of feelings doesn't do justice to our experience of the emotion. Connecting to music is one effective way to become more honest about who you are, what you are really experiencing, and coping with negative emotion.

Self Control
Self-control is what you build up, develop, create and learn by controlling your behavior repeatedly. We should regard self-control as a skill. It is not a character trait or a thing you have to have that lets you control your behavior.
If someone says, "I have no self-control over my gaming or smoking, or eating sweets or whatever," it might be asked, "Are you well practiced at resisting your urges or opportunities to use or to overeat the wrong things?" The answer would likely be, "No." This person is well practiced at giving in to those urges and opportunities to use.
Getting control over your urges and opportunities is like getting control over a bicycle or anything else. You're not going to start out as an expert. You will get control of it only by forcing yourself at first to act differently than you feel. And it may feel very difficult or strange. But by practicing over and over, you learn to ride the bike! So the reason people correctly "feel" that they don't have self-control is because they haven't been practicing what would give it to them. In this case, the skill is in resisting urges or opportunities to use.
In one famous study, children were left with a candy bar and told that if they didn't eat it they would get two candy bars. The children who resisted the temptation while alone were secretly observed using verbal self-reminders and distracting activities. Children who didn't resist were later able to do so after being taught new strategies for better self-control. Things like learning that urges are time-limited, and they will crest and subside if we stall and divert the thoughts to something else. We practice doing this in our group meetings to help you be prepared for when you are tempted.
Self control can be learned. 'There is a will, there is a way' There is always a way to control yourself, its just do you want to or not.

Exams
Why do students hate exam?Exams reminds us of that horrifying experience of waking nights, pressurized atmosphere and books spread all around. The news of exams itself creates havoc in the mind of students. They are a part and parcel of our education. They are here to test what we know. While the criterion of ‘judging’ a student in itself is a defected idea, exams are here to stay. We often grumble about the exam and its origin.
Exam time is a headache for us. The onset of the exam creates a boring and melancholic atmosphere in our study room. The fact that we just have to sit on books, learn and revise ignites our hatred towards exams. We have to eat exam, drink exam, and live exam.
The notion of exam is associated with a lot of pressure from all side. The constant peer pressure and parental pressure combines together and burdens the students. There is so much made out of this whole idea of examination that we perceive exam as a war where we are more or less without weapons.
Our never ending expectation happens to exists in the exams also. We all know no matter how much we study, our results are not going to satisfy our so-called high expectations. We aspire to get better and better but what happens is the pretty opposite. We are well acquainted with the feeling of remorse and distress when these expectations are not met.

The novel I have chosen is ‘Step by Wicked Step’ written by Anne Fine. Colin and Claudia are the two characters I have chosen to compare.
Colin and Claudia come $rom broken or separated $amilies. They both have step parents. Colin’s mother has left his biological father and lives with Jack. Jack is the only ‘Father’ Figure Colin ever knew. 'However" Colin’s mum leaves Jack after a while. This causes him to miss Jack so badly that it hurts. On the other hand Claudia’s Father has left her mother for another woman" Stella. She feels disloyal to her mum whenever she has a good time with her father and Stella. Both Colin and Claudia really want their parents to restore friendly relations between them.
However,, Colin and Claudia are markedly different individuals. They deal with the changes in their respective families differently, Colin is portrayed as a boy always pining for his ‘father’ even after five whole years. Howeve,r Claudia become
hostile towards the new lady in her life" Stella" disregarding all the latter’s efforts to warm up to her.
Even though they experience broken family relationships and and it difficult to accept changes the way Colin and Claudia accept new additional members of the family is different. They have different views in accepting reality and this has made the story more inspiring and colourful.

Based on the novel "Step by Wicked Step", a character that has changed due to certain events in Colin.
Firstly, Colin became an unhappy and lonely boy. He had to join a new school when his mother moved out of their home with him. " I had to start at another school,..."
Secondly, Colin becomes a dreamy boy which causes him to have less focus in school. He would hum their favorite song and stay awake for hours talking to his dad, pretending he was there. "I still lay awake for hours every night."
Lastly, Colin became resourceful. Colin tries to save money. He does three paper rounds to earn money to search for his dad when he is older. "I even do three paper rounds,... Enough to go back and find him..."
In conclusion, Colin responded negatively to the changes in life. After a while, he decided to do something worthy to search for his dad which made him optimistic, resourceful and patient.

So, while Marlin ventures off to try to retrieve Nemo, Marlin meets a fish named Dory, a blue tang suffering from short-term memory loss. The companions travel a great distance, encountering various dangerous sea creatures such as sharks, anglerfish and jellyfish, in order to rescue Nemo from the dentist's office, which is situated by Sydney Harbor. While the two are doing this, Nemo and the other sea animals in the dentist's fish tank plot a way to return to Sydney Harbor to live their lives free again.
Cloud Cookie
Coud Cookie! What is a Cloud cookie? Is it a cookie shaped like a cloud or is a cloud shaped like a cookie? Actually according to google its a cloud shaped cookie cutter! But today I am not here to talk a bout a random cookie cutter however if I had to choose I will never choose a cloud shape who does not like a heart shaped cookie cutter when its in your choices. Ok, back to the point what cloud cookie am I talking about?
I am actually talking about a cloud that shapes like a cookie. Why am I talking about a cloud cookie. Because today when I was in the car I saw a lot of clouds and start to imagine stuff and then suddenly I saw this random round shaped cloud that looked like a cookie. I was confused as why the first thing that came to my mind is a cookie, is it because I am hungry, or is it because I have a sudden craving for cookies. And based on that I figured, wow our thoughts or very much affected by our feelings or emotions if I was not hungry at that time andat that exact moment I would not have thought of that cookie and would not have wrote this weird topic.
This proves that emotions cause us to think differently, when you are angry you always see things negatively and will 'salt' on everything everyone does. Furthermore, this is also can be further proven as when we hate someone we hate everything they do even though we know its right. This is just a few example of our brains prioritize emotions over pure thoughts
In conclusion, we should always keep a positive state of mind so we will be more happy and more wanting to do whatever we are doing.-Inspired by cloud cookie

Question 2012
Based on the novel “Step by Wicked Step” by Anne Fine, an event that makes me angry is how Pixie’s father reacted when Pixie was having a quarrel with her step mother, Lucy.
First off, Pixie’s father reacted childishly when he finds out that Pixie and Lucy were quarrelling. For instance, when he went in to the room where Lucy and Pixie were quarrelling, instead of trying to solve the tension between them, after saying “Whoops!” he leaves the room. When the tension between them has been solved, he comes in the room saying “Are you scrappers ready for a cup of tea?”. This childish act by the father leaves me angry.
Secondly, Pixie’s father thinks unrealistically about the problems in his household. For instance, Lucy states that Pixie’s father wants it both ways and doesn’t think realistically. “Then there’s your dad, he wants it both ways too.” Pixie’s father also wants to create a happy family without helping resolve the tension between Pixie, Lucy, Hetty and Sophie as he does not dare to speak to any of them to resolve it. This is due to the ignorance of the father of the problems present in the family revolving around them which he then proceeds to blame Lucy about it. “Pixie’s father hasn’t got the guts to speak to either of you about the things that make life difficult for Sophie, Hetty and me, then all of a sudden it’s as if I am the problem, not you three!”
Thirdly, Pixie’s father acted selfishly towards the problems between his new family and Pixie. Pixie’s father did not bother helping any of his family members resolve their problems between them by staying out of things and only appearing when the trouble was over. “I think she was fed up with him forever staying out of things, and not facing up to what was bothering everyone, and only creeping in when he thought the trouble was over, and it was safe.” He also didn’t stand up for Pixie or Lucy when they needed it and went on it live his own selfish life without noticing things. “He could have stuck up for me when I was right (and maybe even for Lucy when I was wrong). But instead he just got on with his own selfish, quiet life, pretending he didn't notice things, or leaving them for Lucy, and never trying to sort out any of the horrible, horrible mess he'd made by changing all our lives forever.”
In conclusion, I am angry at how Pixie’s father reacted so immaturely and selfishly when it comes to his family’s problems. Pixie’s father should have helped them solve it by reaching out to them and understanding how both sides felt about each other. Instead, he decided to fold his arms and play it safe until the problem resolves itself. In the end, he was the one that caused the problems that arose between the two families. This attitude by Pixie’s father should change and he should be courageous to step up for either side of his family when they are right and help them be closer to each other.

Ways to solve disciplinary problems in school
School is a place where students are ought to behave well and be a disciplined person which will serve well in society once they graduate. However, there is so many disciplinary problem in school arise everyday that I can't even count. This is because some students often feel rebellious and keep breaking the rules to get that few days of fame among their school. But, students needs to be taught how to obey rules and laws to keep the society safe. What are the various ways to solve these disciplinary problems in school?
One of the many ways to solve disciplinary problems in schools is increasing parental environment around the child. This means children should be put under a friendly/lovely environment where their parents love each other and minimal fights between the family. Futher more, this also means that children must also beloved by their parents. Parents must understand their children and know how they feel. They will feel they have enough attentions from their parents and don't need to break rules to attentions from their friends by breaking various rules.
Besides that, public punishing in school seems to solve a lot of disciplinary problems. By conducting public punishing in school, student will be afraid of getting embarrassed infront of their friends. They will learn that they do not get away with the many times that they have broken the school rules. In my opinion, this is by far the most effective way to implant fear into students and ensure that they behave well in school.
In conclusion, disciplinary problems in school can be easily solved. The school just needs to apply all the punishments that planned and ensure that all the students a re well behaved and always disciplined.

Job Interview
Job interview is very important in getting a job, it's like the first step of a baby. With job interviews, we have chance to choose and to be employed with the company you liked. As always, there is always competition that will want the job as much as we do. So what is important for us to prepare before our job interview? The question is Are we ready for our first step into the "working world".
First of all, the key thing that everyone must do to prepare for a job interview is doing research on the company you are gonna get interviewed by. You will feel more comfortable in the interview if you know more about the company and the position that you are applying for. With this, you will prove to the interviewer that you are interested in the company and are really into working with their company. With deeper research, you can also easily answer all the question asked by the interviewers and can even suggest ways for them to improve the company's perfomance to futher improve your first impression.
Futhermore, you must care your manners when you are speaking to the interviewer. As it's very important for your first impression. As hardworking a person can be, with a bad first impression to the interviewer, you will never get a well paid job. Likewise, we have to wear formal clothings for any type of job interviews. Proper hygiene and a tidy appearance are important. This will give a good impression to the interviewer so that he will give a good remark on you.
In conclusion, we must be well-prepared for a job interview. Job interview plays an important role in our life as it can determine our future. Thus, we must take our job interviews seriously and prepare for them as much as we can. As with good preparation, we can overwhelm any interviewers with our great knowledge.

A gamer's life(part 1)
Gamer, A gamer.I am a gamer. I love gaming. Gaming made me feel great, being able to finally be good at something. But how did I started on this path?
It all started when my mother started sending to a daycare. Its suppose to take care of me and my studies because my parents don't have much time for me last time as i was left with my auntie for one year when I was born. Back to the daycare, it was just normal daycare life with friends fooling around and studying together. Until one day, a senior there brought a laptop there he started playing a game called Sudden Attack which is a First Person shooter type game. We all juniors watched him played and was attracted to it like a magnet. Its so good you get to kill peoples literally and no i am not a psychopath. My friends and I tried to get our hands on the game and we did.
At first, it was less entertaining cause well I am bad at it and i can't kill much. But after sometime as I played more and more like 8 hours per day MORE. I got better and my friends had always trained with me became better too. We played with each other everyday, form a team and started playing competitively but we didn't reach anywhere we just played with teams online. We had fun, I had fun.
I love gaming, it made me feel great to be good in somethings. However UPSR came, I was addicted to gaming and I didn't do well in the exam as expected. The realization had hit me and I regretted everything. I promised myself that I will do better in my secondary. After the primary years i was separated with my old gaming friends.
Fortunately, I got in a good class in the secondary school. Made some friends and started studying more... (i will continue this someday as its a long long long story)
Life
What is life? I have always questioned myself What is life? Why am I here? Why did 'he' created? What is the purpose of life? Who is 'he'? I have always wondered why didn't 'he' tell us what are we created for. But currently i am just a young, naive student who is just trying his best to ace his exams. Trying to live up to my parents expectations. Why? cause with educations, we can get better jobs, with better jobs we can get better pays, with better pays we can buy happiness literally. Some say money can't buy happiness but those are just a comforting phrase for peoples who are poor. I had always asked myself why am i studying so hard? Is it just for the future I may have or is it just following footsteps that have been set by our parents.
We lived blindly everyday, just repeating the stuff we did yesterday and the day before that. But after those few decades, our live just ends with no purpose and no achievements. I felt really weird talking about this cause i am very lifeless, I have no aim in life and just trying to fulfill the criteria as a student. Some peoples try to brighten their live by doing some extreme stuff like free falling. But after that you just go back to your usual routines.
I feel really useless at times. Living for the world not for my own will. Just doing my part because I have to. Maybe someday I will find my true calling and start feeling useful.
Freedom Writers
Freedom Writers. A movie about racism between us peoples who hate each other because of the difference in our skin colours. I expected us to watch some mainstream movies like superheroes or romance stuff but when Pn. Monica said we were gonna watch some documentary about some teachers diary, i planned to sleep right when the movie starts. However, at the end the movie is quite nice i thought me about some life lessons.
The movie is about a teacher who gave up everything just to teach a bunch of students who are from a racially divided school. The movies starts with the teacher trying her best to teach their students but all the students just ignored her and continue doing their usual stuff. The students in the school thought that school are for wasting time and if any of them can survive until their 18th, they can start following their parents footstep which is getting involved in a racial war. But one fine day, the teacher decided to introduce a story about holocaust, which attracted their attention. From then, the student started listening to the teacher in class about the story, they discuss about it everyday. The teacher even brought them to trips to holocaust museums and learn more about it with cold hard facts.
From then on, The students started liking the teacher, they treated her as a friend. The teacher also bought some books that have resemblance for their daily lives. She even brought a survivor of the holocaust to talk about the shits she had to went through to survive this kind of man made disasters.
In conclusion, i learnt that we shouldn't be racist againts other races. We are all humans and we all deserve equal rights.

Worst flood in the history of Malaysia :<
The East coast of Malaysia has faced the worst flood in history. As Derek Van Dam said, the reasons for this flood are "Strong high pressure develops over Eastern Europe and China and strengthens northeasterly winds from the South China Sea, bringing heavier rainfall over Malaysia, Indonesia and southern Thailand. And it's going to get worse. Another 100 millimeters (4 inches) of rain could fall over the next two days near the Malaysia-Thailand border".
According to federal minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamad '"We would estimate a total loss of RM932 million for Kelantan but I would personally estimate total losses for the whole of Malaysia to reach up to RM2 billion." Truthfully, in my opinion the victims not only suffered in terms financially, some also went through the heartbreak of losing their love ones. As reported by the news there is a total lost of 21 lives and almost a quarter of a million people has been displaced in this incident. It is is saddening to hear this news all we can do now is #Prayfortimur and donate fundamental necessities and money. Many of organisations have offered help during this hardships, some even volunteered to en travelled there to help with relocation of the victims and savaging whatever there is left.
Our country's economy is heavily affected for the past few months, we have encounter some major incidents which left unforgettable memories in our mind. All in all, I hope that Malaysian will give their supports, so that the situation in East coast will subside and the victims will finally get to return to their respective homes and live their normal lives.
